The Internship Program is a 16-week paid internship for youth in foster care and youth formerly in foster care who are 17-24 years of age. The Internship Program is a great stepping stone that will assist with success in the workplace by providing support, training and hands on experience in the workforce. The Internship Program will be located within HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services and Intern’s will be matched based on specific job interest and skill level. Interns will have to complete 9 hours of work, 1-hour supervision with the Employment Coach for check in’s and to troubleshoot any issues or concerns in regard to job placement, which will total 10 hours weekly.  

Responsibilities:

Complete identified projects and tasks from supervisor Follow procedures and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior Meet agency standards pertaining to work performed on an ongoing basis Perform all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with the agency’s policies and procedures Meet with Employment Coach on a weekly basis
