As our Eyefinity/VSP Vision Intern, you’ll work within Eyefinity’s Practice Management Engineering - Insurance Domain Team, where you’ll gain professional experience working with multiple tools and technologies. You’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about technologies that support the operation of thousands of Optometry offices, and under the guidance of a mentor, you may assist with the following duties:
Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers, business partners, and leaders on coding and debuggingDeliver effective technical documentation, automated test scripts, and software componentsTranslate user stories and requirements, develop automated test scripts, and implement test scripts and software components within projectsSupport technical design, planning, testing, and implementation within the Agile development process
Preferred Skills:
Programming skills, such as C# and .NET frameworkExperience with JavaScript and Angular for front-end developmentKnowledge of RESTful API design and implementationBasic knowledge of SQL and database management
Qualities of the ideal candidate:
Strong analytical aptitude for problem-solving skillsAbility to apply best practices and meet organization standardsAbility to work independently, manage time, and organize and complete work based on priorityInterested in learning from other professionals and growing their skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills

Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspaceAccess to high-speed internetTechnology will be provided
Education Level: 3rd year/4th year college
Degree Target: Computer Science or equivalent
Program Dates: June 2nd to Aug 8th (You must be able to work the full 10 weeks)

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Salary Ranges: $26.50 - $36.50
