Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Intern. **What you’ll do:** **Position Overview:** Job Title: OPEX Data Analytics Intern Location: Perth Distribution Centre (On-site) We are seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join our team at the Perth Distribution Centre. The intern will be responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making processes and contributing to various projects aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and quality. This is an on-site position, and the intern must be able to work at our facility. **Key Responsibilities:** • Utilize Excel formulas and macros to analyze and interpret data. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI. • Assist in the implementation and management of data systems, including Access and SQL databases. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related needs and opportunities. • Communicate effectively with management and team members to drive awareness of data insights and project milestones. • Perform all job functions with adherence to company values and safety standards. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications:** + Currently enrolled in or returning to an accredited post-secondary institution. + Experience using Excel formulas and macros. + Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting. + Knowledge of Access and SQL is an asset. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Effective time management and project management skills. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous experience working in a data analytics or related role. + Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and practices. **Position Criteria:** + Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. + This position does not offer relocation assistance. + Efficient and effective communication skills (verbal and typed) + Strong computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft applications We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
