Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler Intern. **What you’ll do:** **Position Overview:** Responsible for assembly and wiring standard & engineered control assemblies, as well as full functional and electrical testing on products within our Modification Shop. **Essential functions:** • Work from drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams as well as other verbal or written instructions and perform electrical and mechanical assembly. • Determine wiring sequence, layout and location. • Perform testing to verify work. • Work to CSA, UL, CEC codes and company quality requirements. • Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of work area. • Perform other related duties as assigned in the facility as required. • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, Code of Ethics as well as safety and environmental standards. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** • Enrolled and Returning to an applicable post-secondary program. • Must be legally allowed to work in Canada without company sponsorship. • This position does not offer relocation. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment an asset. **Position Criteria:** • Strong analytic skills • Strong customer services focus with a commitment to confidentiality, a high level of professionalism and time management skills. • Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects, in a manufacturing/distribution environment. • Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
