Job title:
Internship Finance Business Partner; gain experience as an assistant to the Finance Business Partner(s) for the Personal Health (PH) Business Groups in short term performance tracking and management and longer term strategic financial modelling.
Your role:
P&L modelling for short term and strategic decision making; cooperating with the different categories within Grooming and Beauty, Oral Healthcare and Mother & Childcare and in cross PH projects and assignments
Support in the daily management with short term performance tracking and follow up
Supporting BU Marketing team with ad hoc analysis/deep dives on (sales & iGM) performance
First level Business case review on data accuracy, underpinning and evidence
Participate in improvement projects (e.g. iGM improvement project) and Lean initiatives
You're the right fit if:
You are currently pursuing your studies as a university bachelor or master student (BSc/MSc), in Finance, Economy, (Technical) Business Administration or related education
Analytically strong, proactive and solution oriented
Strong communication skills, team player
You have a can do mentality
You have an excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
You are fluent in English (written and verbal)
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an office location role.
Our intern remuneration package:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net depending on the distance between your home address and the Philips location.
Paid holidays per internship term.
