The hourly rate for this position is 34.62 per hour.

Job responsibilities
 

"The Eaton Internship Program – Engineering & Technology is designed to provide exciting opportunities to future leaders who demonstrate a high level of ethics, values, creativity and performance.   

 
During the 6 months paid internship, Intern will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business and will be coached and mentored by Eaton leaders. Students will develop skills through stimulating on-the-job experiences, structured training, coaching and networking events. Assignments support real business objectives, with a focus on growth technologies and a high level of contact with Eaton’s key innovation and technology leaders. Basic Qualification
 

Actively enrolled or completed in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree level engineering program with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Materials, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science from an accredited institution  Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please do not round)  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship  Geographical flexibility to relocate within the United States for the duration of the internship "


Technical knowledge
 

Design engineering experience in any of the following areas: Machine learning based design, sorting and visualization tool creation, Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, Software or Advanced Materials 


Soft skills
 

Good English communication and presentation skills (oral and written)Experience formulating value proposition of new technologies"
