**What you’ll do:** Eaton’s Electrical Sector, Americas Power Controls Systems (PCS) division is currently seeking a Power Systems Engineering Intern. This position is scheduled to start May 5, 2025. The hourly range for this role is $22-$26 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. We believe in fostering a collaborative environment where every team member's contributions are valued and recognized. **What you’ll do:** The Engineering Intern position with the Eaton’s Power Systems Engineering Group primarily will involve review of project specifications & single line diagrams, correspondence to gather data, perform power system analysis studies, electrical design and some AutoCAD drafting. **Essential Functions:** • Provide applied engineering in the areas of power system studies, power quality analysis and electrical power system design. • Performing short circuit, overcurrent coordination, load flow, power quality and arc flash hazard analysis studies. • Review project specifications, single line diagrams and equipment Bill of Materials. • Prepare power system study data requests and follow up as required. • Assist with electrical substation and protection & control design tasks. • Manage paperwork and office procedures. • Perform all work at a high level. • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards. • Perform other duties, as required **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications** • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Degree program with preference given to 3rd and 4th year students with a focus on electrical power systems. • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license • This position does not offer relocation.
