Job Summary:

Crash simulation is widely used by OEMs to assess the performance of their vehicle with respect to safety regulations (EuroNCAP, NHTSA ...). Those standards are defining crash scenarios to be performed and the injury threshold for each of them. The injuries are calculated from the output of the dummy (Anthropomorphic Test Device) used (Accelerometers, Load cells ...). Altair Safety team is developing the Finite Elements of the safety tools required by those standards (dummies, impactors, barriers ...). The goal of this training is to study/assess the effectiveness of ML algorithm in predicting dummy injury in a set of load cases, based on observations done on a different set of crash scenarios.


What You Will Do:

Follow Altair training courses, with particular focus on Physics AI, RADIOSS, HyperWorks, HyperView and HyperGraph Use Altair HyperWorks and HPC to create crash load cases and generate results
Use Python / compose to prepare dataset for ML models
Use Physics AI to train / validate the model

 

What You Will Need:

Basics:

Strong background in structural Mechanics Proven experience of using Industrial Software for structural analysis Python programing
HyperWorks
Curiosity / Autonomous


Preferred:

Proven experience using explicit code for crash analysis (RADIOSS or Dyna) Expertise in HyperWorks for pre and post processing Experience with ML / AI models
