Internship – Social Media Content Creation, Campaigns* (Academic Year, Fall 2025 & Spring 2026)

Submit your application as soon as possible – don’t delay! + Program Dates: Approximately September 2025 – April 2026 JOB SUMMARY: Interns will receive a comprehensive overview of the intricacies involved in overseeing social media channels, digital communities, and business organization within a Fortune 500 Enterprise Company. They will actively engage in strategic planning, content creation, and campaign development, dedicating substantial time to crafting social media content and managing communities across various platforms, such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, and additional channels. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: + Generates engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok. + Develops visually appealing images and videos to enhance social media posts. + Captures and edits photography and/or videography with a social-first lens. + Assists in managing and scheduling social media posts across platforms. + Monitors social media channels for industry trends and competitor activities. + Identifies opportunities for trends, new platform capabilities, and audience sentiment/feedback. + Works closely with social leads, marketing, communications, and internal creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels. + Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. + Performs other duties as assigned. *This position requires a portfolio of work examples – if available, include a web address with your resume. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above. + Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. + A transcript is required upon application. + Preferred majors include: Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or similar. PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: + Experience with photography, video editing, and/or content development skills. + Ability to write for social-first content – i.e. X, text-only posts and Instagram/TikTok captions. Please note the following: + This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices. + Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026. + Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation. + All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable.
