We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic bachelor/master student to join our team as an intern in the field of sustainable HVAC systems. The focus of this internship is on Residential Air Conditioner (RAC) modeling, the application of AI/ML techniques for data analysis, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) control strategies, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Modeling RAC system focusing on environment modeling and load prediction.Analyze and interpret data using AI/ML techniques to improve system diagnostics and control strategies.Participate in group meetings and discussions related to the project.Collaborate with other team members to advance project goals and implement findings into practical applications.Prepare and present project updates to the team and other stakeholders.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Background/experience in HVAC/RAC systems.Familiarity with modeling techniques and tools is highly desirable.Familiarity with simulation methodology is highly desirable.Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and data analysis tools is highly desirable.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.Additional InformationCandidate should fulfil the visa requirements for employment in Singaporehttp://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permits/work-pass-exemption-for-foreign-studentsApplicant must be enrolled in full-time studies throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies.Candidate should be available for full time work for 6 monthsFor foreign students studying overseas, you must be eligible for the Work Holiday Programme (WHP)http://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permits/work-holiday-programme/eligibility
