Your role and responsibilities

We are currently searching an engineer to be involved in engineering activities of automation and control systems in our local Process Industries Division, which is part of the Process Automation Business Area. Such unit provides design, configuration, test, commissioning and service of automation and electrical systems for mainly the Pulp&Paper and Metals Industries.The selected engineer will be mainly accountable for:-\tInvolvement in an ongoing control system project and cooperation with the assigned project team-\tCollaboration in the analysis of the project requirements-\tStudy of the software solutions currently used by ABB in the related field of application-\tCollaboration in the development of the application software which fulfills the requirements of the projectLocation: Sesto San Giovanni (MI), Italy. The work model for the role is: LI- Hybrid

Qualifications for the role

\tFreshly graduated or currently studying in engineering (automation, chemical, electrical, mechanical, or energy).\tKnowledge of physics, thermodynamics, chemistry and principles of automation & control\tBasic knowledge of main industrial processes\tFamiliarity with MS operating systems and Office suite \tGood knowledge of English language (both written and spoken)\tTeam working and communication skills
