Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will optimize processes and equipment in the production site in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business, for Distribution Solutions Business Line, located in Dalmine. You will be mainly accountable for:• Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.• Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.• Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.• Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.• Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.• Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Ability to demonstrate your experience in Project Management. Possess an enhanced knowledge of Office 365 (Strong knowledge of Excel is really appreciated). Ability to use AutoCAD or similar tools. PLC knowledge is appreciated. Electrical, Mechanical drawings knowledge is appreciated. You are captivated by collaborative solution-focused approach, inclined to work in a team, energic, passionate, proactive, ambitious, curious and creative person. Degree in Engineering Field (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Management, Electronic), ITS or similar (Master Degree not mandatory) You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
