About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Build and Integration Intern to join our engineering team supporting the development of Infotainment and Cluster system developed by HARMAN automative. As an Build and Integration intern, you will assist in maintaining and enhancing the company's software build and integration processes. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in software development pipelines, version control systems, automation tools, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Education: BE/B.Tech

Duration: 9 months.

Expected joining date: Immediate

What You Need:

Decent programming knowledge in Python is required.Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git).Basic understanding of build and integration tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven is desiredKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools is desirable but not required.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Self motivated, updated with industry trends and upcoming technology.Eager to learn and improve own skill.Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.Adhere to Harman's policies and code of conduct.

 

What You Will Do:

Assist in the configuration and management of build systems to ensure smooth and efficient builds.Support the integration of different software components, ensuring compatibility and stability.Help with automating the build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI, ArgoCD etc.).Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve build and integration issues.Participate in the development and maintenance of build scripts and documentation.Monitor and analyze build logs, identifying potential issues or inefficiencies in the pipeline.Support the integration of third-party libraries or APIs into the existing build process.Collaborate with other team members to optimize build times and resource usage.Provide support for version control systems (e.g., Git), including managing repositories and assisting with branching strategies.Assist in testing and ensuring the integrity of the software when building and integrating new features.
