Introduction to the job

For E-beam metrology machines, we need to design many EE modules with ultralow noise wideband amplifier and high voltage low-drift circuit. One major challenge is how to set up bench test to measure such low noise and verify modules performance. 

As a Electrical Engineer, you will design, test and debug EE modules and tool.

Role and responsibilitiesAssist engineers to design testing tools.Set up bench test environment.Test/measure module performance.Get familiar with EE test instrument such as spectrum and oscilloscope.Get familiar with conduct schematic capture, circuit simulation, PCB layout.

Education and experienceBachelor or master student in Electrical Engineering.Have basic analog device and circuit knowledge.Have an open mind and willing to learn from colleagues.Can work independently and good communication skill.Available for 5 days a week with duration of a minimum 3 months.Must be active students and enrolled in a US accredited university/institution.

Occasionally required to move around the campus.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Role within the Factory – standard if they will be working in the FAB, Lab, clean room, mfg. area, etc.

Responsibilities

Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Can work under deadlines.The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
