About the Role

You will be responsible for performing general accounting activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of accounting records. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accepted accounting standards, AIA Group reporting policy, and statutory and regulatory requirements.

Perform general accounting activities including the preparing, maintening and reconciling ledger accounts and financial statementsPrepare, record, analyse and report accounting transactionsAssist with forecast, budgeting and analysing budget variances for relevant functionsAnalyse and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reportsAssist in the documenting accounting projects and processesHandle additional responsibilities and tasks as periodically assigned by the assistant manager to meet business requirements

Requirements:

Preferably an undergraduate in the penultimate or final year of bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance programExcel academically with minimum CGPA 3.00 or second class upper or equivalentMinimum duration would be 12 weeks or aboveCompulsory internship placements by universityWilling to work in Cyberjaya

Note: There are 3 available positions - Reporting, Accounts Payable and Investment Accounting. Your role will be assigned based on your interest and suitability.
