Your role and responsibilities

Are you passionate about robotics and web development? Are you eager to work closely with ABB’s partners to develop customer-centric solutions? Do you want to join a diverse team that is continuously pushing boundaries, bringing innovation, and driving change? In this role you will have the opportunity to support the technology manager in developing a solid portfolio of accessories and software that can work with ABB robots. Each day you will support the team ensuring that ABB and its customers have a full understanding of the robotics ecosystem. You will also support the team in developing web interfaces and software solutions that will make our robots easier to use for our customers. In this position you will directly report to the Global Technology Manager of the Robotics Ecosystem.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics Division in Sesto San Giovanni (MI). You will be mainly accountable for:• Supporting and cooperating with the global technology manager team in activities such as new product launches, market analysis, marketing and communication tools, creating product videos, software development.• Supporting designing, development, and testing of web interfaces to enhance the user experience with robots.• Based on user input, think creatively, and propose ideas for improvement.• Working with ABB RAPID robot programming language, RobotStudio, as well as ABB’s Wizard Easy programming, and web development tools.• Supporting the development of training materials for our customers.• Working in projects and activities with ABB teams located around the world including China, Italy, Sweden, etc. • Supporting workshops and events in different ABB locations.• Collaborating with other engineers to ensure seamless integration with ABB robotic platforms.• Working with a cross-functional team

Qualifications for the role

You have a degree in robotics, automation, software engineering or similar. You are passionate about front-end development and have a deep understanding of user experience. Programming experience is preferred. You are passionate about cobots and robots. You have an open mindset and a team working attitude. You have a strong team culture and your attitude align with the core values of our team and share our purpose. You are willing to communicate openly with others; you are at ease communicating in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are a bonus
