**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Ensure the company’s legal strategies are implemented efficiently, as assigned by Governance Department members
+ Manage the legal entity management system for Emerson subsidiaries worldwide, maintaining corporate governance documentation such as minute books, draft resolutions, bylaws, incorporation and restructuring documents, and powers of attorney
+ Keep the company’s corporate documents database up to date
+ Conduct legal research on corporate policies, precedents, and methodologies to improve legal entity operations in Europe and MEA
+ Oversee and draft corporate structure charts, subsidiary lists, affiliate lists, and provide explanations of historical records
+ Prepare memos, communications, and summaries while tracking ongoing processes
+ Complete internal forms and commercial documents with company details
+ Provide company documents upon request
+ Support the preparation of materials for Annual Shareholders’ Meetings, including shareholder outreach
+ Ensure corporate documents and regulatory filings for legal entities and branch offices in Europe and MEA remain up to date
+ Assist with corporate processes related to maintaining and ensuring the good standing of legal entities in Europe and MEA
+ Draft documents for the appointment and resignation of directors, as well as updates to authorized signatories on bank accounts, and oversee these processes independently when needed
**Who You Are:**
You are a recent graduate with a degree in law and a keen interest in corporate governance and legal functions. You have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational setting. You thrive in an environment that requires proactive problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ A University Law Degree (or currently studying, with an ability to extend exams)
+ 0-2 years of relevant work experience in Compliance, Legal, or Corporate Governance
+ Advanced MS Office skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
+ Excellent oral and written English (C1)
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize information effectively
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Previous experience managing legal entity governance documentation
+ Familiarity with corporate legal structures and regulatory filings
+ Experience in a multinational corporate environment
