HSE Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. The work model for the role is: LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the supporting the Process Automation business area located in Tremezzina, IT and you will be mainly accountable for:• Supporting the development and keeping of safety culture in the organization.• Assisting in the application of local HSE laws and group/business-specific requirements, both on documental al practical side.• Facilitating HSE risk assessment and ensures all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.• Supporting in reporting progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level HSE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as required.• Supporting in planning and organizing the training for employees.• Supports the ISO 45001 - ISO 14001 – ISO 50001 certification process.• Implementing ABB policies and standards in their assigned area.• Engaging with internal stakeholders to support on reporting, raising awareness of, gaining commitment to, and obtaining objective feedback on ABB's HSE efforts and performance.• Collaborating with other functions on HSE matters.

Qualifications for the role

Be familiar with the risk evaluation concept. Degree in Prevention and Safety Engineering or Prevention Technician in the Environment and Workplace. Knowledge of Safety Legislative Decree n. 81/2008 – 152/2006 and connected rules and regulations. Very good knowledge of Italian and English both written and spoken. Good IT competences, especially with Office tools. Good communications skills. Positive spirit, proactivity, team working, speediness, problem solving orientation and commitment to deliver results.
