Internship Program
Immerse yourself in the world ofTiffany through our U.S. Summer Internship Program. As part of our esteemed Summer 2025 Class, you will embark on an unforgettable ten-week journey that begins with an exclusive two-day orientation in New York City the birthplace of Tiffany & Co. During the ten weeks, you will delve into the dynamic world ofluxury jewelrythrough on-the-job learning, exploration of the intricate facets of our business, and networking opportunities with Tiffany leaders and fellow interns alike. Dates: The internship will run from June 2, 2025to August 8, 2025.Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program.
Location: This position will be based out of our U.S Global Distribution Center (USGDC) in Whippany, NJ.
Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25.00 per hour.
Position Overview
Provide support to the Workforce Support department through the application of core analysis & Industrial Engineering techniques, including process flow design & mapping, productivity measures & time studies, data collection, and computational analysis.
Key Accountabilities
Work Measurement Studies & Data Collections:
Study supply chain processes in a distribution warehouse facility through classic work measurement assessments (i.e. Time Studies, flow charting, and Standard Operating Procedures). Formally and systematically represent complete information for processes and functions studied by means of comprehensive data collection & documentation.
Process Improvements:
Recommend workflow, equipment, or other changes based on analysis to improve material flow, storage & processing capacity, cycle time, and productivity. Develop analytical & statistical tools, process flow documentation, database queries, reports, and related items to aid this effort.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have Sophomore through Grad School college status in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher Excellent PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills Strong analytical, research, and related skills Solid project, time, and self management skills Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment Modeling experience, particularly workflow modeling/simulation, preferred MS Access or similar Database experience, a plus Previous logistics or manufacturing experience a plus Proficiency with computer-aided design software, especially AutoCAD
