Job DescriptionThe Makers Garage at our location Hannover-Stöcken is in charge of bringing ideas to life, by building the products in a modern lab and in an agile way.
Within this exciting work environment, we are offering an internship position starting as soon as possible. For the best learning experience possible, the internship should require a duration of 5-6 months.
Tasks include:
Assist in user research and analysis to identify user needs and pain pointsTogether with the team: plan and conduct user interviewsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers to better understand the products and processesAnalyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data (supported by AI based software)Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX ResearchQualificationsStudents (m/f/diverse) that study Business Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Product Design, Sociology and Anthropology or similarIdeally having a specialization in/ affinity for UX ResearchBasic understanding of user-centered design principles (ideally in product development).Knowledge of research principles and mixed methodsExperience recording and interpreting customer interviewsGood understanding of qualitative and quantitative data analysisKnowledge in interview design and questionnaire designCompetent handling of MS-Office and interest in technology (e.g. Figma, Mouseflow, SPSS, KNIME, DoveTail, ChatGPT)Fluent English- and good German language skills (written and spoken)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsEagerness to learn and adapt to new methodologies and toolsAbility to analyze and visualize complex informationIntercultural sensitivity.Before submitting your application, there are a few things to keep in mind: We need your current proof of enrollment, current transcript of records and a confirmation from your university regarding the completion of a mandatory internship in order to process your application.
