Dates: The internship will run from June 2, 2025to August 8, 2025.Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program.

Location: This position will be based out of our Manufacturing Facility in Lexington, KY.

Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $23.00 per hour.

Description

The Manufacturing Intern will provide support to the Manufacturing team through the application of core analysis & engineering techniques, including process flow design & mapping, productivity measures & time studies, data collection, and computational. Dates of Internship: June 2nd - August 8th 2025

Responsibilities

Partner with Inventory Control to understand material/data flow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using available technology. Create, update, and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Work with and through others for the analysis of production problems, their solution, and the effective and successful implementation of the solution . Implement lean manufacturing methods for identifying production needs. Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern period All other duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will be working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial & Systems or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field at a college or university located in Kentucky Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze information from various sources. Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and challenge current processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills. Please note the position location is 2445 Innovation Dr., Lexington KY 40511
