Dates: The internship will run from June 2, 2025to August 8, 2025.Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program.

Location: This position will be based out of our Cumberland RI Manufacturing Facility.

Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $23 per hour.

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Casting Intern will provide support to the Manufacturing Casting team through the application of core analysis & engineering techniques, including process flow design & mapping, productivity measures & time studies, data collection, and computational analysis.

Key Accountabilities:

Define manufacturing casting issues, collect data, analyze facts, implement solutions and review as needed.

Create, update, and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Work with and through others for the analysis of production problems, their solution, and the effective and successful implementation of the solution.

Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern period.

Required Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will be working toward a bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial & Systems or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field at a college or university located in Rhode Island.

Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze information from various sources.

Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and challenge current processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills.
