About our intern program:
Our competitive intern program offers interns exposure to the business world and a meaningful work experience. Interns are treated as valuable team members while learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative, fun and dynamic environment. Team Overview:
The Baird Family Wealth (BFW) Team engages with Family Wealth Advisors on marketing to and providing solutions for more complex higher net worth clients, particularly owners of private businesses going through transitions and families with legacy wealth. Learn more about the team .
Internship Location, Availability and Hours:
Located in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office, the intern must be able to work part-time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week, and full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week. We are seeking a student who can start in May 2025.
As a Baird Family Wealth Intern, you will:
Develop presentations for client meetingsCreate marketing materials for BFW team and advisor teams (ex. internal and external roadmaps, case studies, one-pagers, business owner resources and materials, etc.)Assist with external website and social media content creationPartner with PWM Training and Development Team to track advisor teams’ progress across training requirements, help facilitate capstone training components and program communicationManage SharePoint and BairdWeb sites to ensure content is organized and up-to-date for advisor teams Perform special projects and other duties as assignedWhat we look for:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related degree with a graduation date of May 2026 or laterStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team playerExceptional organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesAbility and drive to provide strong customer service to all clients and associatesAptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them
