Internship - Marketing Gastroenterology

Objective

In 2023 Lilly joined the Gastroenterology environment to prepare the ground for the launch of new molecule in Ulcerative Colitis market with the goal to become a major player within the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Marketplace. In order to do this, it needs to be present in a highly competitive and growing market and to manage so many activities in the last quarter of 2024 and in the first part of 2025. It is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, collaborating with different functions in the company and  following each stage of a new product launch.

The main focus of this internship will be to create a positive customer experience, positively engage with the field force, and strengthen the alignment between marketing and sales functions.

This project will give an hands-on experience in marketing strategy, event planning, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Activities

Support the marketing team to execute the 2024 and 2025 Opernational Plan in order to guarantee a  360° successfull launch for new product in Italy by:

Support the Senior Brand manager in her daily activities, including localizing International Business Unit's and Global's Strategy, preparing and communicating activities and materials to the Sales Team.

Work closely with Omnichannel Customer Engagement manager to spread the digital approach across the Gastro business unit by prepare the campaign/tactic

Participate to the Local Brand teams, international community calls and regional/national congresses.

Work on performance reports and provide insights and recommendations for improvements.

Results

This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic setting, following each stage of a new product launch. The project will strengthen teamwork skills across various departments (medical, marketing, sales, etc.) and improve customer operations. The candidate will learn the value of operational support in ensuring smooth task execution and coordinating department efforts.
