ING Luxembourg is looking for an intern for its ODCR (Operational Design, Control and Resilience) department as part of the monitoring of non-financial risk.
This is an internship approved by an educational institution to be filled from January 2025 for a minimum period of 6 months.
Job description:
The Operational Design, Control and Resilience department of ING Luxembourg operates in a dynamic and demanding environment, requiring a multidisciplinary approach as well as a global view of the organization in place. Financial and banking knowledge, procedural spirit and excellent human contact are the key words of the ODCR department.
To this end, we are looking for motivated interns whom we train in order to develop their technical and personal knowledge.
The ODCR department, among other missions, is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of operational risks, as well as tests on applicable controls, in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 standards and the Group's instructions.
Its mission is therefore to verify the implementation of operational controls within the Bank.
As an intern, you will be required to:
- Conduct tests, including tests related to SOX standards
- Write test reports
- Participate in meetings with the various banking departments
- Participate in agency inspections
- Participate in the implementation of regulations
- Review inadequate internal processes and update procedures
Depending on the priorities of the growing, dynamic and international ODCR department, the intern may also be required to contribute to other missions within the department (Sourcing Team, Local Process Management team, Resilience & Continuity team or Fraud Management).
Your profile:
Education and experience:
University/business school education with a financial, economic or accounting orientation. Knowledge of operational risk and audit methodology is an advantage.

Languages:
