As an R&D Intern at Hive focusing on Processing your key responsibilities & accountabilities could be (amongst others):
• Working on the product specifications that deliver the required quality to our consumers and to achieve this with the available equipment, adjust the equipment or create, build and implement a new design;
• Support the factories, help them to be more efficient or operate more sustainable;
• Working on pilot plant and factory trails, for example:
o Working on tool for flow characteristics comparison for dry powder products;
o Focusing on the processing of savoury powder recipes;
o Towards predicting pasty cube processability: Correlating lab scale deformation information towards paste extrusion;
• …And many more interesting tasks & topics to give you the best possible learning experience!
What we offer:

What we ask:
• You are available for 5 or 6 months from February - March 2025(at least 32 hours a week);
• You must be enrolled as a (3rd or 4th year) Bachelor or Master student;
• A study food technology or processing, physics/physical chemistry and/or Engineering;
• You have a great passion for foods & you’re analytically strong;
• Fluent in English; both oral and written
