Edelman Global Advisory (EGA) is a boutique firm providing business, government and advisory services to help navigate today’s changing geopolitical and economic landscape. Headquartered in Washington, DC, we have deep expertise on the ground in the U.S. and Canada, APAC, MENA, Europe, Latin America, and India. Our team works seamlessly with Edelman’s 6,000+ world-class communications professionals to deliver truly integrated client services. EGA China team supports clients in their efforts to develop business in China and global markets. We provide and implement strategies for government relations, market access and expansion, investment facilitation, philanthropic and profile raising programs, as well as others.  Our Research Analyst is responsible for a broad range of industry research, policy tracking, and logistical support for clients; has knowledge and interest in economic and commercial issues, as well as a basic understanding of international economics and business terminology;and has experience in understanding China’s political and economic systems. Official Website:  |  
 
Duties and ResponsibilitiesReport to Associate Director of EGA China, who is based in Edelman Beijing officeWriting correspondence and client reports Research on client topics and China and U.S. issuesNote taking in relevant meetingsProvide daily work support to EGA China teamProvide trip and events logistical support as directedQualificationsStrong, demonstrated research and analytical experience using both Chinese and English language sources Native written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) Excellent written and spoken English Ability to work on multiple tasks at a time, and to work well among a team in a fast- paced work environment Positive, passionate and detail-orientedPrefer graduate school students who can guarantee at least three work days perweek for at least three months (six months highly preferred)ApplicationThis is a paid internship.
