Internship - Sourcing Analyst

Position: Sourcing Analyst Trainee 
Duration: Part-time 6h/day 
Date: February 15th, 2025 to October 31th, 2025
Location: Hybrid in Timisoara, Romania


Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics/Procurement/Sourcing;

 

The Intern will work with other teams to ensure that contractual data loaded in the system is accurate and up to date. They will also get involved in analyzing existing data and based on analysis impact on selected strategies in negotiations with Nokias suppliers. 

Data Analyst intern will get a good understanding of the wonderful world of sourcing, get familiar with main processes, and understand what is important in well well-functioning sourcing organization. 

Must have:

Excellent skills with the Microsoft package ( Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), especially with Excel – the ability to perform filters, v-lookups, pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas essentialExcellent communication skills in both English and Romanian (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task workload, work under the pressure of tight time constraintsAnalytical skills and detail-orientated personalityAttention to detail AdaptabilityProblem solvingTeam collaboration

 

Nice to have:

Experience in Data analytics & Data managementFamiliarity with procurement processes and contract management systemsKnowledge of the telecom or technology industry

As part of our team, you will:

Load and maintain the Global database and maintain various Global Tools – in order to provide the internal Nokia Procurement customer base with accurate, usable allocated contract data and provide required information to perform necessary negotiations and analysisWork regularly with Global Commodity Teams, Internal factories, EMS Supply Team supporting the EMS suppliers to provide the negotiated pricing and be the first line to resolve pricing issues and ensure changes are updated in the databaseRFQ (Request for Quotation) preparation, issue to suppliers, provide follow up analysis and load final allocation, as directed by commodity managementResponsible for loading and maintaining accurate pricing and contract terms data for use throughout the company and maintenance of contract database Data interpretation of reporting results- by consolidating them into power point presentations, charts, graphics and so on and building data communication between different files, which enable complex data manipulation.
