Reimagine What’s Possible
Data Validation and Reconciliation (DVR) of an operating plant is a powerful numerical tool allowing for gross errors to be detected and key performance indicators to be calculated. In order to support Air Products business within the Kingdom, it is proposed to apply the DVR approach to a gasification plant located at Jazan, Saudi-Arabia.
The student will carry over existing work to improve the existing model, build with ASPEN plus, to improve the capability of the model to accurately detect errors. The student will have to simulate errors and discrepancies and assess the model response. Depending on progress, the new version of the model will be tested on site.
