Under general supervision provides essential support for departmental functions that include a wide range of activities and initiatives.

Perform operational and administrative functions as it relates to academic major. Work on special projects as assigned by functional leader. Assist in implementing functional strategies and support the team in reaching goals and objectives. Support the departmental deliverables and help in planning and supporting tasks.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

This internship will provide fundamental experience within our Logistics Department.  Intern will be tied to a specific department for 10 weeks with additional 1 week rotations in the remaining departments. The rotations will include Transportation and Shipping & Receiving.   Responsible for creating and providing a Power Point presentation outlining “lessons learned” during the internship to the Logistics Steering Team at the end of their internship. Primary responsibility for the Logistic intern will be to get an overall experience on how each department impacts the logistics departments and our customers.
