Interpreter is responsible for providing Interpreter services as well as providing technical and clerical support. Interpreters provide language services to health care patients with limited English proficiency. The Interpreter helps patients to communicate with doctors, nurses, and other medical and nonmedical staff. The Interpreter will enable the delivery of appropriate, quality medical care to non-English speaking members of the community. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
Full-Time | 80 hours per 2-week pay period Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm No evenings or weekends!Pay and Benefits:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. 1 year minimum experience in a medical setting. Knowledge of medical terminology. Good typing and computer skills. Successfully pass English/Somali language Medical Terminology exam prior to hire. Successful completion of oral proficiency testing in English and Somali language through the American Council on Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) with a score of 3.5+/Advanced-Mid Level. Registered in the State of MN as an interpreter required within 90 Days.Preferred:
