Job Title: Interpreter

Job Description

We are seeking an Interpreter for the overnight shift at the St. Peter's location. A large portion of this shift's first language is Kinyarwanda, and most of these employees do not speak or understand much English. We are looking for an Interpreter who can effectively communicate with this group of employees.

ResponsibilitiesFacilitate communication between employees who speak Kinyarwanda and those who speak English.Translate spoken language from Kinyarwanda to English and vice versa.Assist in bridging language barriers to ensure smooth operations during the shift.Support employees in understanding job-related instructions and safety protocols.Essential SkillsFluency in Kinyarwanda and English.Excellent verbal communication skills.Ability to translate spoken language accurately and efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in interpretation or translation services is preferred.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.Work Environment

This position requires working 8 hours during the overnight shift window from 5:45pm to 6am, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The work environment involves interaction with employees whose first language is Kinyarwanda, and the interpreter will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication within the team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
