What you need to know:

10 month program, full-time Must complete minimum of 5 weekend and 20 weekday on-call shifts - regular hours will be 730am-6pm, 4 days per week Benefits & pay will be offered Upon successful program completion & IR board certification, continue as a full-time IR Technologist Program consists of:  Clinical rotations at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus – to include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring IR and operating room procedures Lecture with hands-on workshops

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography Experience: Some experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist Certification: BLS from the AHA; ARRT registered with a BLS from the American Heart Association Other:  GPA of 3.0 or higher in college coursework Copy of current ARRT card Official Transcripts from all previous college coursework, including radiography program 500 word essay on why Interventional Radiology is your chosen career path (personal statement) Current Resume 3 Professional References  Current Supervisor Radiology Program Director Colleague of choice
