The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Riverview

· AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.

· The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.

· This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.

· AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Interventional Supervisor with initiative and independent judgment, performs professional and technical duties for the Special Procedures Department. Maintains a program which assures the patient that quality is an integral part of all procedures performed and is responsible for the overall management in the Special Procedure Department. This is a working supervisor position.

· Resolves customer service issues in a timely and efficient manner, treating all customers with courtesy. Communicates issues to Supervisor.

· Demonstrates proficiently performs technical Imaging procedures on all patient age groups and ability to teach the same.

· Provides Imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of sex, age or race. Provides patients with efficient and courteous care.

· Assures that all staff are proficient on the proper use and operation of the specific imaging equipment and the department’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiological Technology

· Three (3) years’ experience in Special Procedures

· Current Florida x-ray technologist license

· American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
