SUMMARY 
As an Interventional Technologist, your attention to detail and assistance with radiology procedures ensures diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients undergoing procedures.
 

STATUS: Per Diem     
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital     
DEPARTMENT: Radiology    
SCHEDULE: Flexible Scheduling, Monday-Friday and weekends as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Patient Care. Provide on-call coverage for radiography in all assigned areas, including angiography, interventional and digital subtraction angiography; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts and throughout the angiographic area; transport medications to procedureDocumentation. Properly document exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts General Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basis

Desired Attributes:
•    Six months as of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
•    BLS Certification preferred.
•    Interventional Experience preferred.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work various software applications.
•    Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:
•       Graduation from accredited school of radiological technology or equivalent.

Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
•    NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
•    American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) or obtain certification within three months of employment.

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
