Job Description An employer is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to work remotely. You will primarily be responsible for optimizing CI/CI pipelines, automating release processes, ensuring security compliance, and empowering engineers with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. You will streamline and improve efficiency of the clients CI/CD process in CircleCI, with a heavy focus on their monorepo housing React and React Native applications deployed across global markets. You will also develop/ automate the release and versioning processes across multiple applications, ensuring seamless synchronization with Jira. From a SecOps perspective, you will proactively address platform security concerns by reducing the average age of highlighted vulnerabilities, staying on top of critical security patches, and working closely with security teams to maintain the integrity of our core platforms. In additon, you will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reusable Terraform modules and provide guidance for establishing and scaling infrastructure for our core applications and backend services. Finally, you will ensure continuous monitoring through tools like Datadog and partner with SRE to implement safe release practices with a strong emphasis on feature flagging and gradual rollouts in production.
