Intraday Trader

location: Katowice

 

 

Main activities & challenges:

activity in the area of ​​active participation of RES assets in balancing the power system (system services markets, energy storage services, DSR, capacity markets), monitoring of ​​development of energy storage facilities (BESS) and their commercial applications, concluding electricity sale/purchase transactions on the wholesale market (mainly TGE Intraday and spot market), management of the electricity position, with particular emphasis on the portfolio of renewable energy sources (RES), close cooperation with other departments and locally and on central Group level (Brussels, Paris), executing P&L for managed positions and ensuring transparent and regular reporting, regular analysis and improving the quality of forecasts in the short-term horizon, monitoring and managing market and operational risks.

 

Profile:

university degree, preferred fields: technical, economics, mathematics, minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, knowledge of electricity market mechanisms in Poland and Europe, TGE broker license is considered as strong asset, pragmatic, economic, and logical approach combined with problem-solving skills, knowledge of the fundamentals in the power markets, good knowledge of IT/IS applications and tools, especially practical ability to apply new IT solutions in portfolio management and trading, avanced level of English.
