Role: Intune Engineer

Job Summary:
The role involves managing and supporting both the engineering and operational aspects of Windows environments. Responsibilities include overseeing device enrolment, configuration management, compliance monitoring, OS updates, application deployment, and system monitoring. The position also requires providing third-level support, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and leading or assisting in deployment and migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support both the engineering and operations of Windows environments, with a focus on device enrolment, configuration, and compliance using Intune. Design and implement OS updates and application deployment processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Monitor system performance, enforce compliance standards, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Provide advanced technical support (third level) for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution. Maintain detailed documentation of engineering and operational procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting protocols. Lead or participate in deployment and migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal user impact. Develop and deploy automation scripts to streamline both engineering and operational tasks, enhancing overall efficiency. Integrate Windows environments with other IT systems, optimizing cross-platform functionality. Train users on new features, best practices, and updates to maximize system adoption and effectiveness. Leverage strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly and effectively.Qualifications:
Familiarity with PowerShell is good to have, with experience in automation. Familiarity with Bash is good to have. Extensive troubleshooting experience in Windows environments, with a focus on engineering and operations. Strong background in managing device enrolment, configuration, and compliance. Exceptional documentation skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy. Ability to lead and execute projects, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication skills, capable of training users and conveying complex technical information clearly.
