Job Description:

The RaceWay Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the RaceWay Accounts Receivable team. This individual generates, collects, and assesses various accounting reports daily to ensure all operator accounts are as accurate as possible. This individual supports the analysis, research, and preparation of financial information to meet specific daily and monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Research outstanding operator/franchisee’s maintenance charges and card fees; assist the manager in determining how to account for balances.Pulls daily NSF reports notifying field personnel to collect outstanding funds.Prepares and analyzes accounting data by processing and interpreting accounts, such as general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.Completes various month-end duties, including calculation of RaceWay rebates, RT Franchisee accruals, and RW expenses and incomeServes as a point of contact for District Managers with report issues or concernsAssesses over/short reports and researches to identify recurring problems and determine solutions to eliminate profit loss for individual stores.Collects and inputs Close of Business Reports daily and ensures inventory levels, card totals, and deposits match up correctly.Assists the RaceWay Supervisors with additional Accounts Receivable reports or duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or applicable experience preferred1+ years experience in Banking, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, or a related field preferredFamiliarity with general accounting principles such as accounts receivable accounts payable, month-end close, journal entries, and financial analysis preferredExperience with Microsoft Office Suite  required
