Job Title: Inventory Analyst 3Job Description This position collaborates with suppliers to ensure execution of planned orders and schedules, resolving issues to ensure material availability for facility production. The role involves working with production schedulers and operations personnel to support production and point-of-use material availability. The incumbent ensures alignment of inventory accuracy and systems planning parameters with the plan for every part to maintain planning accuracy. Responsibilities + Ensure timely delivery of materials to the facility by collaborating with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, shipping schedules, and work schedules. + Collaborate with suppliers and operations using supplier collaboration technologies to plan material delivery for production. + Perform root cause corrective actions to resolve quality and supplier performance issues, planning for alternate manufacturing methods as necessary. + Analyze established parts schedules and production requirements, converting requirements into appropriate piece parts, requisitioning materials, regulating inventory levels, and issuing work orders. + Manage and perform supplier scheduling and implementation of engineering changes for efficient product and component manufacture. + Support supply chain performance efforts by monitoring and tracking supplier performance metrics. + Improve point-of-use material availability by applying root cause analysis and corrective actions. + Provide Material Planning expertise to facility functions to improve demand variability, forecast credibility, and usability for production planning. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience as an inventory analyst. + Proficiency in MS Excel. + Experience with inventory control, MRP, supply chain, and materials management. + Ability to use and troubleshoot MRP and MTS systems. + Associates or Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. + Tech-savvy with experience in using computers and software programs like MRPs/ERPs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials. + Proficiency in documenting and recording customer/client information accurately. + Basic mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback. + Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production. + Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Work Environment Hybrid; 2-3 times in office per week, with the expectation to change.
