A Brief Overview
As an Inventory Analyst at ASICS, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels across various channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and implement strategies that enhance inventory efficiency while minimizing costs. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying trends and providing actionable insights to support inventory planning and replenishment processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. A background in inventory management, supply chain operations, or related fields, along with proficiency in inventory management software and Excel, is essential.

What You'll Do

Develop Financial Plan and Forecast year-end inventory levels for input into Stravis templates Schedule and run a monthly “Clean Sweep” meeting with Sales, Distribution, and Merchandising to prioritize the sale of aged Season Codes, excess inventory, and obsolete inventory Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts that impact Inventory Calculate Quarterly Inventory Provision Resolve any outstanding issues on the Weekly MAP Discrepancy Report Run bi-weekly Freight Application Report and meet with A/P and Logistics to resolve Other duties as assigned. Adheres to all company policies and procedures Embodies and demonstrates company ethics and values Abides by all federal, state and local laws


How You'll Be Successful

Strong understanding of bookkeeping and ERP software (such as SAP, BPC, and Stravis). Basic understanding of Planning, Forecasting, and Inventory accounting. Proven experience in inventory management or analysis, preferably in the retail or apparel industry. Strong ability to analyze complex inventory data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques to predict demand and optimize inventory levels effectively. Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and formulas for data analysis and reporting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and sales. Ability to convey analytical insights and collaborate on inventory strategies that align with business objectives. Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques to predict demand and optimize inventory levels effectively.


What You'll Need

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and training 2-3 years of strong accounting experience and knowledge of Forecasting and Planning required Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software required (SAP, BPC, and Stravis preferred) Proven experience in inventory management or analysis, preferably in the retail or apparel industry. CPA preferred


SALARY / PAY RANGE: $63,000 to $70,000.00
