Inventory Analyst

SUMMARY

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring the entire logistics chain to ensure support of the program customer while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Supervisor in maintaining database elements including consignment part master table, interchangeability maintenance, pricing matrix, system security (where required), inventory and transactional integrity in the applicable database. Ensure all material supplied is consistent with AAR and Customer requirements. Review and resolve rejected or undeliverable material in a timely manner. Ensure accurate material status is relayed to customer and site representative in a timely and accurate manner. Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner. Review and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner. Interface with appropriate personnel within the logistics chain to organize and expedite inventory shipments, transfers, purchase orders, and repair orders in support of depot level maintenance activities. Maintain daily communications with on-site representatives. Make recommendations for process and procedure changes required to improve overall supply chain efficiency. All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required.1 year of experience is preferred.Proficient with MS Word, Excel.Access experience preferred.

SCHEDULE

Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.On occasion, it may be required to work later during the week or on the weekends.
