Inventory Analyst
Description

Staff Management | SMX is looking for an individual to join our team at our client Dabico Airport Solutions as an Inventory Analyst. You would be responsible overseeing inventory activities for our manufacturing operations. Ideal candidate would have strong experience in managing inventory, work order management, managing cycle counting, interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM) and developing process to optimize material flow through the facility. You will play a key role in managing inventory position and partnering with other departments for inventory management.

Analyze Inventory Levels: Monitor and analyze inventory levels to determine reorder points and safety stock levels.Forecast Demand: Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast future inventory needs based on historical data and market trends.Inventory Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.Inventory Management Systems: Utilize inventory management software to track product information, including quantities, batch numbers, and expiration dates.Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to minimize costs, optimize efficiency, and reduce waste.Reporting: Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends.Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to manage inventory needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation of inventory management policies and procedures.Issue Resolution: Address inventory-related issues and concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in inventory management software, excellent communication and organizational skills.Compliance: Compliance with Risk Management

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of ERP systems and Business CentralExperience with lean manufacturing principles.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Language: English

Normal office environment within a manufacturing facility. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Bending, walking, kneeling and twisting also required. Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Associate Requirements Bachelors Background Check Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $30.00 - $30.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
