This role will assist in expediting materials and providing input into NCMR system (Non-Conforming Material Review). Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Inventory Analyst – Distribution works cross functionally with Operations, Procurement and Quality Departments to ensure the transactional accuracy and timely obtainment of raw materials. **Essential Functions** + Accurately evaluate and help resolve issues that arise concerning inventory or workflow. + Reconciles cycle counting activities, performing root cause analysis on any discrepancies. + Provide input regarding material availability, spikes in production requirements and unplanned business requirements as needed. + Complete electronic inventory transactions as required. + Generate inventory reports/queries and communicate inventory discrepancies to department management. + Assist with processing RMA’s (Return Material Authorization’s) and coordinate any repacking needs with each manufacturing group. + Review and follow all pertinent SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and Work Instructions as needed. + Follow all Company safety policies, rules and procedures at all times; maintain a strong safety mindset. Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for work being performed. + Accurate completion of all documentation and production reporting following Company and Quality guidelines. + All other duties as assigned. **Typical Background** **Education:** + High school diploma or GED required. **Certifications/Licensing:** + N/A **Years and Type of Experience:** + One to three years of inventory management, production planning and/or master scheduling experience in a regulated manufacturing industry preferred. **Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:** + Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), e-mail and Internet. + Excellent communication skills – written and verbal. + Interpersonal skills to include customer-focused orientation with both internal and external customers. + Strong decision-making skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Comprehensive organization and analytical skills; strong attention to detail. **Key Behaviors Critical for Success in this Role:** Here at Dentsply Sirona, our vision is to transform dentistry to improve oral health globally.
