Inventory Analyst - Warehousing 1
Position Summary To develop and implement all policies, procedures, systems and best practices with regard to inventory management, for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information. To examine, monitor, anticipate and administer replenishment practices related to the entire GM’s operations by analyzing inventory reports, past trends and replenishment trends. To make sure that all the warehouse, logistical and store inventory processes are coordinated in order to make sure that these items can be efficiently and successfully delivered to the appropriate stores. To provide detailed information regarding inventory that help operating departments in the company accomplish their financial objectives.Primary Responsibility Daily duties include writing inventory reports, review inventory replenishment reports, performing cycle counts, and determining periodic asset valuations. Duties also involve researching past sales trends and staying informed of current sales trends that may influence inventory demand. May also oversee the level of incoming products and ensure that it stays balanced with the level of demand. Responsible to work with finance and internal audit teams in yearly audit functions and proving that all products were bought, handled and sold in compliance with rules and regulations. To be responsible for coordinating one-time buys during holiday season, product discountsRequirements A bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing and Materials Management and 2 years of related experience. Candidates with Diploma with at least 5 years of similar work experience in Retail, Hospitality or Manufacturing. Candidates with Diploma without relevant experience can be considered for Assistant Inventory Analyst. (S)he need to be able to gain full understanding of the existing systems and procedures employed in GM. Demonstrate high level of competency in Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Databases management. Prior experience with SAP, Oracle, Warehouse Management Systems especially RedRock will be an advantage. The job requires strong organization skills, as analyst must keep several databases and spreadsheets detailing the various elements and aspects of inventory. Able to communicate and delivers ideas well in project writing and presentation skills in English, Chinese. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate high level of expertise and proficiency responsible for inventory/replenishment management
