Job Description
To our tech center in Prague, we are looking for Inventory and LIMS Systems Specialist (medior).
Responsibilities
Supports building, designing, examining, and implementing LIMS and Inventory IT systems
Supports existing LIMS and Inventory products through its lifecycle, including configuration, administration, and maintenance
Responsible for facilitating user-centric outcomes in daily lab operations
Streamlines the life cycle process of samples in Bio laboratories, from registration to their use in experiments
Ensures value is created and a positive user experience is achieved; Ensures alignment between requirements, solutions, and outcomes
Plans, monitors, organizes, and oversees projects
Cooperates with Product Manager to feedback nonfunctional requirements, user experience and in production behavior of the application
Supports development of business cases
Supports testing or investigations on LIMS and Inventory applications and provides recommendation or resolutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Natural Sciences or related field, or a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in lab environment, understanding of lab or inventory processes
Ability to understand and meet the requirements, goals and expectations of the client business in the labs. To initiate and implement improvements.
Need to have system specific expert knowledge (e.g. LIMS or ELN systems)
Proficiency in SQL Queries and Scripting/algorithm techniques
Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate in and international environment
Experience in a validated environment and understanding of principles of GLP/GMP is a plus
