GDIT is seeking an Asset Management Adminisrator to support the Center for Information Technology contract in Bethesda, MD. The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for administering government property and assets in accordance with contract requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations. Work includes maintaining property lifecycle, managing, monitoring, and tracking property; creating and maintaining property accountability records; conducting property audits; and developing and modifying process and procedures high-quality transmission and reliability. HOW AN ASSET MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Monitor the inventory database for changes and updates to ensure accuracyIntake and receive new equipment orders, which includes accounting for all pieces in delivery, inputting into inventory database, and relocation to a storage area until ready for deployment.Coordinate vendor returns with the Network Services team and NIH property management teamTransport property from off site warehouse to main work siteOperate standard warehouse equipmentImplement quality management measures to evaluate the Inventory DatabaseUtilize existing analytical methods and techniques for specific corrective measures and develop new approaches to resolve complex inaccuracies Provide inventory recommendations on immediate needs to managementPerform on-going project-based assignmentsMaintain Smartnet contract (additions and removals) working with Cisco POCImplement modifications and revisions for procedures to improve the efficiency of daily operationsWork closely with management to identify classification of data and suggest recommendations for corrective actionRequired Skills:
Minimum HS Diploma and at least 5 years of related experience5 year of property managementProficiency with MS Office toolsMust have a valid driver’s licenseTruck driving and forklift experience in warehouse environmentAbility to obtain an NIH Public TrustDesired Skills:
