Inventory Assistant

The inventory assistant is responsible for managing equipment and furniture coming in and out of the business, as well as keeping accurate records of items stored in the warehouse and office. Responsibilities   + Assists in maintaining and updating the detailed control/inventory count of all items pertaining to each assigned location, novela and/or set + Responsible for ensuring the proper packaging of items for transportation and/or storage + Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios’ infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures + Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment + Perform physical counts of products + Receive and store products in an orderly manner + Record the quantity, type and value of equipment and furniture. + Audit inventories + Report the obsolete equipment and furniture.  Basic Qualifications + Minimum 6 months of experience making inventories in warehouse. + Basic knowledge in the TV production and engineering equipment. + Basic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint + Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions   Eligibility Requirements: + Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends + Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment + Must be willing to work in different locations (Reforma, Rebsamen and Warehouse) + Must be 18 years or older   Desired Characteristics:  + English level: Basic + Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization + Proven solid writing skills and editorial judgment + Exhibits excellent knowledge of Spanish grammar Proven excellent interpersonal skills combined with a strong sense of how to visually tell a compelling story desired As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
