Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist maintains inventory operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role implements streamlined processes, analyzes data for improvements, and provides insights to enhance productivity. Effective collaboration and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintaining high performance and operational excellence.
Essential Functions

Maintains inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels, record deliveries, and ensure accurate documentation.Analyze inventory data to anticipate shortages, improve control procedures, and enhance efficiency.Implement and maintain standard work processes for consistent performance and quality.Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence.Develop strategies to optimize supply chain logistics and inventory accuracy.Report on inventory levels, procedural efficiency, and areas for improvement to management.Safely operate forklifts and equipment in compliance with company safety standards.Safely operate company vehicles for material pick-up and drop-off as needed.Maintain strong safety, quality, and productivity standards with consistent results.Collaborate with team members to support operational goals and address inventory issues.Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
(S) Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.(A) Ability to interpret documents, drawings, and analyze data effectively.(S) Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and intermediate PC skills, including Excel.(S) Attention to detail with the ability to execute tasks efficiently.(S) Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Education and Experience
