Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory BI Specialist to join our high performing and progressive team. This is a fantastic career opportunity and will offer exposure to Merchandise, IT and Supply Chain.
The primary requirement of this role is to Design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions that support the strategy and activities of the Inventory team; co-ordinate the business intelligence activities of other teams within the Inventory function and support activities of the central Inventory teams with data insights to guide problem solutions
 
What you'll be doing
 
As an Inventory BI Specialist, you will:
 
Improve inventory management through maintenance of Inventory Business Intelligence through
 
•    Design and build datasets for business intelligence and automation needs
•    Inventory Confluence - -reporting reference materials are up to date
•    Communicate business intelligence and insights effectively
•    Ensure all reporting adheres to the Inventory reporting standards
•    Maintain report data integrity and manage Inventory data costs
•    Deliver consistent availability of reports for trade meetings
•    Collaborate with key stakeholders, lead, develop and simplify reporting needs aligned to a standardised way of working
 
Planning & Time Management
 
•    Timely report creation as required, based on adhoc needs to the business
•    Review and manage system generated exceptions
•    Ensure key milestone dates met for maintaining future projects
•    Liaise with key stakeholders to meet KPIs and deadlines
 
To successful in this team, you should possess experience in, but not limited to, the following areas:
 
•    Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
•    Proficiency in Power BI, along with capabilities in Python, Power Automate, and SQL/Snowflake.
•    Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
•    Ability to influence and effectively engage with stakeholders.
•    Competence in making data-driven commercial decisions.
•    Experience in the Retail, Wholesale, or Manufacturing sectors.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
•    Clear and concise communication skills.
•    Proven track record of executing action plan deliverables in a timely manner.
•    Experience in dynamic problem-solving environments.
•    Experience in project and business translation.
•    Sound knowledge of inventory management, particularly within a retail environment, would be advantageous.
